The Olney Arts Council Annual Arts Showcase was held in early November. They host an event with several categories offered. Barbara Brummer received a second place in oil painting on canvas.
  Becky Marcussen received a first for a pastel on board and a third in watercolor. Becky ‘s pastel was purchased by an Olney patron and collector.

Congratulations to Barb Brummer on a very successful year capped by the Best In Show at the Illinois State Fair.

John Gabb has likewise shown in prestigious juried shows this year. Recently he received a Merit Award and Honorable Mention at Paris, Il.

Bob Reisling is another member who has experienced wonderful successes this year, look for an upcoming show of his work at the Paris Bicentennial Art Center.
