The Art Guild meeting will be at 7 P.M. on November 8, Tuesday, at the Hendelmeyer Part District building at 1906 S. 4th St. in Effingham.
Our presenter for the evening is Terry Waldron, curator at the Misselhorn Art Gallery in Sparta, Il. The gallery, dedicated to the art of the late Roscoe Misselhorn, is filled with over 2000 of his drawings, paintings, woodcuts, etc. The gallery is located in the restored Gulf, Mobile and Ohio Depot constructed in 1907.

Waldron recently retired from teaching art in the Sparta public school
system. He will bring us a variety of Misselhorn’s work and give us a history of the artist. He has expressed the possibility of having a group show of members of the EAG.

In addition to the presentation on Misselhorn, Waldron will also display some of his own (Misselhorn inspired) artworks.
