Tonight’s Meeting – October 11th

The Effingham Art Guild’s monthly meeting will be held tonight.  The 7pm meeting will feature a presentation by Michael Watts, director of the Tarble Arts Center at EIU in Charleston, Il.  Watts will present a program concerning the Peter Norton Christmas Project. Norton, a contemporary art collector, has commissioned an annual Christmas project to be editioned and presented to art museums as a Christmas greeting. The Tarble Art Center has received these artworks for over a decade.
In addition to the presentation Watts will brief us on upcoming events at the art center.
