EAG May 2018 News

President Notes May 2018
We had a great art show this year, as always, thanks to the wonderful artists we have participating. We can’t say enough for our hosts, Dennis and Jamie Miller and the staff at WS Broom Furniture for helping to make this another great show. I want to personally thank all the EAG members that helped pull all the details together and get things done!

I want to remind everyone that our group painting project for our June Meeting is “ Ocean, Fish or Anything Aquatic”. Also, remember our June meeting will start at 6 PM and we ask that everyone bring a dish for the potluck.

Jan VonBokel tells me that the Bonutti Show will be June 20th with details to follow.

April Artist Presenters
A special thanks to Stacey Zerrusen for her presentation on Barn Quilts and to Jan Clair Mason for her presentation on Ecostics. Both were extremely informative, interactive and just plain FUN!

May Artist Presenters
Our presenters for May will be Dale Wagoner and Ham Hampton, both long time EAG members and very talented artists. They will help us explore various ways of adding more value in our artwork. They will bring props and equipment to allow us to better understand values and how we can improve our art by honing in on these skills. Ham says that they will have pencils, Matt board pieces and kneaded erasers available for the group to use.
